-Come and listen to a wonderful Canadian Baroque violinist Louella Alatiit in her Final Doctoral Recital, where she will perform music by Georg Muffat (Violin Sonata), Johann Sebastian Bach (Partita in D minor), Antonio Bertali (Ciaccona), Georg Phillip Telemann ("Paris" Quartet in A minor), and a world premier of Canadian composer Graham Flett's Quartet "Recasted Trope". Louella will be joined by harpsichordist Kelly Savage, gambist Motomi Igarashi, and flutist Sang Joon Park.

Bacchanalia by Nicholas Poussin

Bacchanalia (Laura Thompson, Director/flutist) will present musical gems from the French Baroque for one/two flutes with violin and basso continuo. The program will include Sonata in e minor by Michel Blavet; Trio in D major from “Pieces en trios” by Marin Marais; duos for two flutes by Joseph Bodin de Boismortier; Concert no. 5, from “Pièces de Clavecin en Concert” by Jean-Philippe Rameau; a selection from the Concerts Royaux of François Couperin; and Georg Philipp Telemann's “New” Paris Quartet no. 2 in a minor.

Directions: N/R train to 28th & Broadway; or no. 6 train to 28th & Lexington Avenue

General admission $25, students/seniors $15.
