Aula Harmoniæ will be touring in the Midwest (Iowa and South Dakota) bringing beautiful music of Carl Philipp Emanuel Bach, François Couperin, Jacques Duphly, Marin Marais, and Johann Joachim Quantz. One of the highlights from these concerts will be the world premiere of 18th Century Spanish composer José Herrando's Flute Sonata. Originally written for the violin, this version was transcribed especially for the flute by Aula Harmoniæ, with new basso continuo.
