Pictures from the Netherlands
I made a two months journey to the Netherlands to study exclusively with my idol, Professor Wilbert Hazelzet, whom I first met in Vancouver Early Music Programme last August. Lessons with him were really wonderful. Here are two pictures taken after his beautiful concert in Rotterdam [click on each photo to view the original size]:
with Wilbert Hazelzet
with Mrs. Miep Blomberg, Dr. Martin Knotters and Prof. Hazelzet
Mrs. Blomberg (shown above) was my generous landlady who lives in beautiful little town called Bunnik, 6 minutes train ride from Utrecht:
My lovely room in Mrs.Blomberg's house in Bunnik
Visit to my flute maker Simon Polak's workshop in his 1700 farmhouse was brief but memorable: http://www.earlyflute.com
Simon Polak in his workshop explaining how his flutes are made
I even had time to visit the Bunnik Traverso Workshop, led by Professor Frédérique Chauvet
duet with Martin at Bunnik Traverso Workshop
