Rossignol Amoureux in San Francisco May 20, 2007

-My duo partner
Meg Cotner (click on her name to view her website) and I were presented in a recital in the Chattanooga Chamber Music Series in San Francisco, CA. Our recital took place in the lovely home of Kathy and Mark Perl in Noe Valley, where they regularly host many wonderfully intimate concerts. Katherine Roberts Perl (click to view her website) is an outstanding harpsichordist/teacher and Mark Perl is an established psychiatrist in San Francisco. Here are few pictures from beautiful San Francisco:

Pictures from the Netherlands

I made a two months journey to the Netherlands to study exclusively with my idol, Professor Wilbert Hazelzet, whom I first met in Vancouver Early Music Programme last August. Lessons with him were really wonderful. Here are two pictures taken after his beautiful concert in Rotterdam [click on each photo to view the original size]:

Mrs. Blomberg (shown above) was my generous landlady who lives in beautiful little town called Bunnik, 6 minutes train ride from Utrecht:

Visit to my flute maker Simon Polak's workshop in his 1700 farmhouse was brief but memorable:
