Brilliant harpsichordist and my colleague Gabriel Shuford, winner of the 2011 Samuel Baron Prize, will be giving his solo and chamber music recital. Music by François Couperin, Antonio Rodil, Joseph-Nicolas-Pancrace Royer, Padre Antonio Soler, Georg Philipp Telemann, and Duke Ellington. Guest artists will include Aaron Packard (violin), James Waldo (viola da gamba), Lars Jacobsen (saxophone), and Sang Joon Park (baroque flute).
